• He is also instrumental in designing a module, with which Phacoemulsification is possible in the grass root level
• Also, developed modern eye camps with highly improved facilities and from which about four lakh patients have benefitted
• More than 275 camps have been conducted throughout the country, which includes remote areas of Ladakh, North East, West Bengal and Maharashtra
• In fact, the Eye camps conducted in Ladakh was a rare land mark in the history of modern Ophthalmology, maiden Phaco camps ever conducted at a height of 14106 feet
